Wired Networking Solutions with Attractive Price in Bangladesh

When we connect to the Internet through our local network, one of the most used ways is Wi-Fi. However, another very important one is the Ethernet network cable that uses the RJ-45 connector. Today in GCTL Networking we are going to talk about the best networking cables, depending on the use you give them, and the distance you have to cover. It is very important to look at the category of the cable, as it is a crucial factor.

A very important factor to take into account is that the best way to take advantage of the full potential of our Internet connection is by using a network cable. Frequently, Wi Fi networks do not offer us all the bandwidth that we have contracted. This may be because the router does not have enough capacity, the Wi-Fi device cannot support that speed, or because of interference with the Wi-Fi networks of other neighbors.

However, if we opt for network cable, unless our PC or laptop is old, we will not have problems to take advantage of the maximum speed. The only thing we must bear in mind is that, if the cable is too long, we must purchase a suitable cable with additional protections so that the signal is perfect. Before recommending a series of network cables, we are going to talk briefly about the categories and the type of shielding.

Best Options of Ethernet Networking Cables:

✔ Cat6 patch cord connects all hardware destinations on a Gigabit local area network (LAN), such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, devices PoE and more; supports: Gigabit 1000 BASE-T; 10 BASE-T. Meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with IT compatibility compliance. A / EIA 56. Standard 8-C.2

✔ Flexible and durable Cat6 cable with high bandwidth up to 250 MHz ensuring high speed data transfer for server applications, cloud storage, video chat, HD online video streaming and online games

✔ Cat 6 flat cable design helps avoid cable tangles and saves space. The flat Ethernet cable is super flexible when placed under the carpet or bent in the plane of its fine cross section such as doors, swivel arms, drawers, etc.

✔ UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cord with RJ45 gold-plated connectors are made of 100% bare copper wire, ensuring minimal noise and interference

✔ Fulltime Support - If you are not satisfied with your cable, then feel free to get in touch at any time.

Category and shielding of network cables

The best way to choose our network cables, depending on the use that we are going to give them, is by choosing the category that best suits our needs. In this table you have the most updated currently:

The least you should buy right now is Cat 5E cables that still ship free with some routers and network equipment. However, due to the small price difference, in GCTL we recommend the use of category 6 network cables at a minimum. Another factor to take into account, in addition to the category, is the shielding, which is a shield that protects the cables under their plastic jacket. Its objective is to avoid electromagnetic interference with transformers, motors and electrical cables.

According to the shielding, we can classify network cables into the following classes:

  • The UTP cable: no shielding and shielding is the cheapest and most flexible of all.
  • Shielded twisted pair cable (FTP): the pairs are not individually shielded, but have global protection that encompasses all of them.
  • The cable individually shielded twisted pair (STP): contains each of the twisted pairs of the cable covered by a protective cover made of aluminum.

S / FTP cable that have a double shield, on the one hand, each cable has its protective layer and then another additional layer is added that covers the entire set.

Q: What's the difference between Cat 6 Cat 5 and Cat 5e?

Answer: The difference is in the bandwidth ratings. Cat 5e has a higher bandwidth than Cat 5. Cat 6 has a higher rating than Cat 5e. They all use RJ45 connectors and are usually interchangeable.

Q: What's the difference between STP and UTP? Are these cables shielded?

Answer: UTP stands for Unshielded Twisted Pairs. STP stands for Shielded Twisted Pairs. The ethernet standard uses data packet transmission and error correction. Unlike streaming data transmission, this standard simply buffers and repeats until it has a complete instruction set which compensates data transmission errors. Since UTP was cheaper in the beginning, it generally became the standard. If you are using the cables for ethernet connections, either should work. If you are using for a stream data system like video transmission, the shielded cable should be used.
